About Us

Framers’ Workroom opened its door at the current location, Tenleytown DC in August of 1981.  Since the opening the Workroom has been preserving memories and artwork and has built such a unique family like relationship with our clients.   We rely on our decades of experience to provide you with the best services possible.

Unleash Your Creativity at Framers' Workroom

Endless Design Possibilities!

Our team includes artists skilled in different media, professional photographers, woodworkers, and carpenters. All the staff members have passed exams given by the Professional Picture Framers Association, qualifying them as Certified Picture Framers (CPF). In addition, three of them completed additional courses and exams and achieved the distinction of becoming Master Certified Picture Framers. We are the only frame store on the East Coast with that many CPF's and MCPF's.

Our team has won awards from framing competitions.

Management and staff bring their considerable knowledge and practical experience to the workplace. We take pride in the level of service and expertise we provide for any project from framing a poster to framing a Chagall to shadowboxing a collection of medals.

Contact us about your special project and we'll help you determine the best way to treat your artwork
